PASI assessment index in patients treated with Natural Health Spa Smrdáky
In past, we have to evaluate the results of complexe balneotherapy for psoriasis using the PASI index in file of 15 patients who were treated for 4 weeks, and have no restrictions on treatment.
Results: PASI 75 achieved 14 persons (93%). Because it was a relatively small and disparate set of (13 men and 2 women), and our patients have also treatment limitations, we made the evaluation results of complexe balneotherapy for psoriasis in the set of 120 patients (63 men and 57 women) with a mean age 51,8 r. PASI 75 values after one month comprehensive balneotherapy in PLK Smrdáky achieved:
50% (15 pts. in a file of 31 patients with diagnoses and treatment limitations), 82% (73 pts. in a set of 89 pts.).
The overall average of PASI 75 is 73,3 % (88 pts. in a set of all 120 pts.).
