Hydrogen sulphide mineral water
The healing water of Spa Smrdáky is mineral water with a high content of therapeutically effective hydrogen sulphide (680 mg/l) and classify Smrdáky´s mineral water to the most concentrated hydrogen sulphide waters in Europe.
Mineral water has its characteristic smell and exceptional effects in treatment of skin diseases. It contains minerals and salts - based on Na, Mg a Ca (3400 mg/l), which beneficially help to reach positive medical result.
Indications
Psoriasis, Atopic dermatitis, Chronic and repetitive eczema, Acne vulgaris, indurative and more forms of acne, chronic skin diseases (dermatoses) with implicit beneficial effect of spa treatment (sclerodermatitis, chronic prurigo, dermatomyositis, ichtyosis, neurodermitis circumscripta, urticaria, dermatitis herpetiformis, lichen ruber, parapsoriasis, dermatitis seborhoica)
Contraindications
Bronchitis Asthma, epilepsy, infectious diseases, acute psychosis, impetiginisation
Aquatic therapy: whole body mineral sulphur bath, mineral baths for legs and arms, mineral bowl, pearl bath, permanganate bath, bran bath, scottisch sprays, walk in bathtub.
Phototherapy: UVA, UVB , UV - combe, sun lamp, infra-red-lamp
Rehabilitation: therapeutical massage
Therapeutical treatments are offered from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00 am. On Sundays and Bank Holidays we do not offer therapeutical treatments
